We have won two prestigious European Red Dot design awards. The best cases in the “Branding and Communication” category were the cases “Miory region: the largest territory branding in Belarus” and “FC Dinamo-Minsk: visual style of the season”. The Belarusian agency won the Red Dot Brand Communication award for the first time in history.
— Never before has the jury had to evaluate such several works — the competition was so great this year, — said the organizing committee of the award. — And the fact that the Belarusian agency received the award speaks of the outstanding quality of the works presented.
This is one of the presented works — branding of the Miory region.
-The branding is based on the image of cranberry leaves because the Yelnya swamps are the largest region of its growth in Belarus, — says Denis Misyulya, creative director of Moloko creative agency. — This graphic element became a module from which we created the logo of the area and hundreds more logos for tourist places, villages, rivers, waterfalls, etc. We have created a constructor that allows branding at any point in the area. Branding was able to unite a variety of places, making them attractive to future tourists.
The strategy has worked: after Miory region adopted the branding of the creative agency and changed the visual image of the area, the number of searches for the area in search engines increased by more than 15 thousand.
— I am extremely pleased that we have shown an outstanding level of branding not with an ordinary project, but with the branding of the territory of Belarus, which is especially valuable for me and the whole team. I also want to note that this is a major step in the field of creativity for us. I am confident that these two awards will once again show how the value of creativity and idea in design makes a brand stronger, more interesting, and unique. All five years since the agency was founded, we have been raising the bar in developing strategies and branding, developing our methods, and now I can say with complete confidence that this was noted not only by clients but also by a high jury.
The second winning project is the visual style of the new season of FC “Dinamo-Minsk”.
— Our agency had a task — to inspire the fans of the club to support the team in the weakest period of its history, — says Denis Misyulya. — We decided that the courage to admit the truth should inspire: now the club has a difficult time. The design unit is a triangle, a classic soccer pass combination. Each triangle in the season pattern is the result of a separate game over 29 years. Thus, the overall pattern is a visualization of data from all the games of the team, which included both crushing losses and inspiring victories.
For the team, the triangle has become a symbol of fan support, since the main pass during a match that affects the result of the game is the support pass from the fans to the players.
